“Nord metal” UAB is the seasoned enterprise with extensive expertise, specialising in the manufacture of cut & bent rebars and prefabricated steel reinforcement cages. The enterprise successfully handles B2B projects in Lithuania as well as in foreign markets.

Our story began with the enterprise “Metalinis” UAB and metalworking for export. After accumulating substantial expertise and establishing an extensive network of contacts, the area of activity expanded to include reinforcing steel and the welding of it. With the fast growth of the company, different types of reinforcement (reinforcing bars, roll mesh, meshes), cut & bent rebars and exceptional-quality prefabricated steel reinforcement cages became the core of our activity. The company’s clientele grew, accompanied by a rise in order volumes, leading to a demand for the expansion of internal human resources, so the enterprise was renamed to “Nord metal”. Over time, the family business idea evolved into a market-leading team full of ambition, united not only by a well-developed operational framework but, more importantly, by shared values.

Even though we have been in operation for a decade, we have not strayed away from our outlook towards the quality of our products and operations as the enterprise continued to grow, which paved the way to earning our clients’ trust.  Top-quality materials, remarkable precision, and zero-error accuracy in our production process have always been our top priority. We remain adamant that even “invisible” features must be made error-free, and observing the agreed deadlines is a key component in such an area of activity. May it be a standard project or one that requires specialised welding solutions.

To improve and optimise our operational processes and upgrade the quality of our services, we try to learn by doing training, participating in refresher training, attending exhibitions abroad, yet we are happy to say that most of our experience is acquired through completed projects and the trust from our clients.

We are certified for standard LST EN ISO 17660-1:2006. Therefore, we serve our B2B clients and provide reinforcement steel products in all of Europe and Scandinavia in accordance with the quality standards and technical requirements applicable in each country. As we are sufficiently competent, we can offer a full service package which includes the preparation of technical documentation and the logistics of a finished product.

Most of the processes such as rebar cutting & bending are automated, while piles are welded exclusively by the machines. We very precisely follow the drawings and specifications. If needed, we prepare all the necessary documentation by ourselves and consult our clients on technical matters. By aiming to achieve the best results, we constantly carry out quality control, internal audits, and monitor the production process. We use only certified raw materials compliant with the relevant standards. We recycle all our waste.
